XPE - xPL Plugin Editor V1.0 Available

XPE, or xPL Plugin Editor, is a tool to create and maintain xPL plugin files. Plugin files describe the devices a vendor produces as well as how to use those devices for applications like xPLHAL. They allow such things to tailor themselves to the capabilities of each device.

XPE makes editing plugins reasonable easy and removes a lot of potential for errors. XPE can also help new plugin files with it's "Auto Device Discovery" tool.

Read more about it at http://www.xpl4java.org/xPL4Java/

xPLio is written in Java with the xPL4Java framework and will work on any platform that supports Java 1.5 or later and has a Javacomm implementation. Details and downloads available at http://www.xPL4Java.org
